Yin is 5'9" and started playing golf at age 6. Yin quickly rose to the ranks of the top junior golfers in the U.S., becoming the youngest to play in the U.S.  Women’s Amateur when she was 12. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, adventuring, eating and hibernating.
