Boonchant was born in Bangkok, Thailand, where she started playing golf at age six. For high school, she attended the IMG Academy in Florida where she excelled on the course and in the classroom. At Duke, she majored in Statistics and played on the D1 women’s golf team, where she was named a three-time All-ACC and four-time All-American selection.
